Thanks for volunteering to help out on Election Day!

What’s involved?
With your help, we are aiming to have every voter walk into the polling booth holding a Nathan Barton How to Vote card.  If you have the capacity, it would be great if you could even take on two shifts, as we have a lot of booths to cover. 😊 Please arrive at your shift 10 minutes early so there is time for handover.

Not all Polling Booths/Shifts are created equal!
We want to make the most of your valuable time by having you help at the busiest polling stations, at the busiest times. Each Booth has been marked with a priority level, so you can see where you are needed most. Voters also love to vote early in the day; if you have the flexibility, please fill morning shifts first.

What is a Booth Captain?
Booth Captains will collect all the election materials from our office before election day (corflutes, t-shirts, How to Vote cards etc). They then arrive at the Polling Booth early to dibs a good spot and put up Nathan Barton signage. If you're a morning person, we'd love to have your help with this important role! ⏰

What do Scrutineers do?
Scrutineers observe the vote count immediately after the polls close at 6pm, and report the results back to HQ.
